Where Your Attention Goes Energy Flows

So what's going on with you these days? Are you depressed or happy? Are you doing well in business, or losing your shirt? Are your relationships harmonious, or are they draining?

Wherever you focus your attention, your energy is flowing in that direction. Energy makes whatever it touches grow. So, if your focus is usually upon negative things rather than positive things, know that your attention to the very thing you don't want in your life, has no choice but to expand.

If you change the way you look at your world, the world changes. Focusing on things that only make you feel worse will in no way ever make you feel better. No matter who you are, if you are breathing there is something you can be happy about. The sun always comes up tomorrow, and the world continues to spin, without checking with you first.

If you pay more attention to the things you don't like about someone opposed to pondering upon the things you do like about someone, by the law of attraction, and of course good old common sense, momentum of thought alone will cause your negativity towards that someone to grow. In time, if this thinking is not altered, a pattern of negative thought will have been ingrained within your mindset, and a habit of thought will have formed, which will ultimately cement itself in your mind as a belief. Once a belief has been learned, it is very difficult to change, although it can be done.

Learning how to steer your mind is the most important work you can do. Here are some things you can try to help you figure out what your paying attention to, so you can begin directing where your energy flows.

Journaling; Through journaling of thoughts, one learns to observe ones own belief system.

Meditation; Meditation helps clear negative thoughts.

Learning: Reading self help books that teach how to uncover faulty belief systems helps us learn about why we do what we do, and how we can change our minds for the better.

Without knowing what we think, it is hard to decide if what we think, we want to think. When we learn to think what we want to think, we finally harness the secrets to the universe, through the deliberate creating of our desired realities.
